The Chief Engineer will be responsible for the overall engineering operations, preventive maintenance, asset management, energy efficiency, and safety compliance of a 5-star luxury hotel. The role demands a technically strong leader with extensive experience in luxury hospitality engineering standards and team management.
Qualifications
Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
Certifications in safety, energy management, or facilities management preferred
Extensive experience with 5-star or luxury hotel brands

Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Engineering & Maintenance department
Ensure smooth functioning of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire & life safety systems
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Oversee operation and maintenance of utilities, boilers, chillers, DG sets, STP, WTP, elevators, and BMS
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety norms, and brand standards
Drive energy conservation initiatives and optimize utility costs
Manage annual maintenance budgets and CAPEX planning
Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and service providers
Ensure timely completion of renovation and refurbishment projects
Maintain asset lifecycle management and technical documentation
Lead and develop engineering teams with a focus on skill enhancement
Handle emergency response, breakdowns, and crisis management
Collaborate with operations teams to enhance guest comfort and satisfaction
