Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef / Chocolatier with hands-on experience in crafting premium pastries, desserts, and chocolates. The ideal candidate should have a passion for the art of confectionery, strong technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining high culinary standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, prepare, and present a variety of pastries, desserts, and chocolates with creativity and precision.
Develop new recipes and seasonal dessert menus aligned with quality and presentation standards.
Manage ingredient inventory, ensure proper storage, and maintain kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
Oversee daily production schedules and ensure consistency in taste, texture, and appearance.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute dessert offerings for events and special occasions.
Monitor food cost and minimize waste through efficient production practices.
Experience Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or Chocolatier.
Special course or certification related to baking, pastry, or chocolate making preferred.
Strong knowledge of pastry and chocolate production techniques, tempering, molding, and decoration.
Attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication skills; English fluency is mandatory.
Must be hardworking, disciplined, and passionate about continuous learning and innovation.
Compensation:
Salary Range: OMR 400 – 700 (based on experience and skills)
