Designation: Quality Assurance and Inline Quality Controller
Location: Dubai, UAE
Experience: 3–5 years in Food Manufacturing or Packaging
Salary Range: 3,500 – 5,500 AED (Full-inclusive)
Job Purpose
The QA & Inline Quality Controller is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food safety and product integrity throughout the production cycle. This role focuses on real-time monitoring of packaging operations and ensuring strict compliance with international food safety certifications and local Dubai Municipality regulations.
Candidate Requirements
Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience as a Quality Controller, specifically within the food industry (Packaging/Repackaging experience preferred).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.
Technical Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, and HACCP principles.
Familiarity with Dubai Municipality (Foodwatch) requirements.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Communication: Proficiency in English (written and verbal). Knowledge of Arabic or Hindi/Urdu is an advantage.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities1. Production & Process Control
Real-time Monitoring: Oversee daily repackaging and packaging operations to ensure 100% adherence to approved product specifications and quality standards.
HACCP Compliance: Implement and monitor HACCP plans, ensuring all critical control points are managed effectively.
In-Process Checks: Perform frequent inline quality inspections to identify deviations in:
Target weights and volume accuracy.
Packaging seal integrity and aesthetic quality.
Labeling accuracy (batch codes, expiry dates, and nutritional info).
Physical product condition.
Corrective Action: Initiate and document immediate corrective actions when process deviations or non-conformities are detected.
2. Documentation & Record Keeping
Compliance Logs: Accurately maintain and update all quality-related records in accordance with FSSC 22000 and ISO standards.
Reporting: Ensure comprehensive documentation for:
Daily Quality Inspection and Inline Check Records.
Cleaning and Sanitation (SSOP) Records.
Personal Hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Monitoring.
CCP/OPRP monitoring logs.
Audit Readiness: Ensure all records are organized and ready for inspections by the Dubai Municipality or third-party auditors.
3. Hygiene & Safety Oversight
Conduct regular floor walks to ensure staff compliance with PPE and personal hygiene protocols.
Monitor the cleanliness of the production environment and equipment pre- and post-operation.
