Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional for the role of Manager – Finance & Accounts (Treasury) to join our Family Office team.
The role involves overseeing accounting functions, financial reporting, and ensuring timely statutory compliance for the Group. The incumbent will play a key role in preparation of financial statements, taxation, audits, and corporate secretarial reviews.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Statements Preparation
Coordinate with internal teams for timely closure of books
Periodic review of books of accounts and supporting documentation
Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements as per applicable accounting standards / Ind AS
2. Audit Coordination
Act as primary point of contact for statutory, internal, and tax auditors
Ensure smooth audit execution and timely resolution of audit queries
3. Statutory & Tax Compliance
Review TDS calculations, remittances, and return filings
Review Income Tax Returns and schedules for accurate reporting
Provide data for advance tax calculations and tax assessments/appeals
Manage GST payments and filings
Support tax planning and compliance initiatives
4. Secretarial Review
Coordinate with the secretarial team for review of ROC filings and resolutions
Ensure compliance with Company Law and FEMA
Assist in restructuring-related activities
5. Banking & Financial Relationships
Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions
Negotiate favorable investment and banking terms
Monitor transaction costs and optimize banking operations
6. Tax Litigation Management
Coordinate with Legal Department and external counsels for tax litigation
Liaise with Tax Authorities at departmental and court levels
7. MIS Reporting
Prepare periodic Tax MIS reports
Generate specialized reports as required by Management
8. Risk Management
Identify exposure to interest rate, currency, and market risks
Recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies
9. Technology & Systems
Implement and optimize Investment Management Systems (IMS)
Ensure accurate and up-to-date data capture
Generate system-based reports for management and tax purposes
