Job Title: Mechanical Engineer – Engineering Procurement
Salary Range: ₹25,000 – ₹45,000 per month
Experience Required: 2–5 Years (preferred)

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with experience in Engineering Procurement to manage sourcing, vendor coordination, and technical evaluation of mechanical components and equipment. The role requires strong technical knowledge along with procurement and negotiation skills to ensure timely and cost-effective material availability.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
2–5 years of experience in procurement or engineering roles
Key Skills
Knowledge of mechanical components and engineering drawings
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Understanding of procurement processes and supply chain
Good communication and coordination abilities
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (preferred)
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing:
Identify and source mechanical components, equipment, and materials
Develop and maintain vendor database and relationships
Obtain quotations, compare prices, and finalize vendors
Technical Evaluation:
Review technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs
Evaluate vendor proposals based on technical and commercial aspects
Ensure materials meet project requirements and quality standards
Vendor Coordination:
Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and contract terms
Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery and resolve issues
Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance
Project Support:
Work closely with engineering and project teams for procurement planning
Track material requirements and ensure availability as per project schedule
Maintain procurement records and documentation
