Refrigeration Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Conduct laboratory tests as per established standards and procedures.

Maintain laboratory documentation, including testing procedures, standards, test reports, calibration records, and correspondence.

Prepare and submit test reports in the prescribed format for approval by relevant authorities.

Ensure proper identification, traceability, and handling of test samples throughout the testing process.

Coordinate the receipt and procurement of laboratory equipment and testing packages.

Monitor calibration schedules for laboratory equipment and maintain updated calibration certificates and records.

Assist in planning and scheduling product approvals and certifications through third-party agencies.

Inspect samples before submission to third-party testing organizations and ensure compliance with applicable standards.

Manage correspondence and documentation related to the R&D department.

Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental requirements within laboratory operations.

Required Experience & Skills

Minimum 1 year of experience in refrigeration systems and testing applications.

Experience with commercial refrigeration or merchandising equipment standards is an advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a scientific and detail-oriented approach.

Excellent organizational and documentation skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or a related field.

Language Requirements

Fluent in written and spoken English.

Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an advantage.
