Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Executive to manage the IT
infrastructure and digital ecosystem of educational institution. The ideal candidate
will be responsible for maintaining the technological framework that supports
academic delivery, administrative operations, and student engagement platforms.
This role requires a blend of strategic planning and hands-on technical expertise
tailored to the education sector.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic IT Planning
Align IT with academic/admin goals; plan tech upgrades for e-learning &
smart classrooms
2. Infrastructure Management
Oversee labs, smart boards, projectors, servers; ensure high internet/intranet
uptime
3. Information Security
Implement cybersecurity, data privacy, and backup policies for educational
data
4. Vendor & AMC Handling
Manage IT procurement, AMC contracts, and vendor performance
5. Disaster Recovery
Develop and test DR plans to minimize disruptions during online
classes/exams
6. Cross-Department Collaboration
Coordinate with academic/admin teams; report IT progress to management
Core Technical Skills:
1. Network Administration: LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi setup, firewall/router config, VPN
support
2. Server & System Admin: Windows/Linux OS, AD, DNS, DHCP, file/print
servers, backups.
3. End-User Support: Desktop/laptop/projector/printer troubleshooting, MS
Office, Google Workspace, helpdesk tools.
4. Hardware & Software: Install/configure hardware, software license tracking,
asset management.
5. Campus Management Systems (CMS/ERP): TCS iON/Fedena/Moodle –
support/workflows, queries
6. EdTech Tools: Experience in Smart classroom setup, LMS (Moodle/Google
Classroom/ Canvas) Zoom & MS Teams
7. Cybersecurity: Antivirus & Endpoint protection, policy enforcement, email
security
8. Database Management: SQL basics, backup/restore of institutional DBs
9. Web/Portal Management: Basic HTML/CMS updates, web coordination
10. Cloud Services: Microsoft 365 & Google Workspace admin, Drive/OneDrive
