Roles & Responsibility:
Source and procure raw materials, components, and equipment required for production.
Negotiate with vendors to secure competitive pricing, favorable credit terms, and timely delivery.
Evaluate and onboard new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing ones.
Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and track shipments to ensure zero production downtime.
Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative sourcing options.
Coordinate with the Quality and Production departments to ensure received goods meet technical specifications.
Manage inventory levels and oversee the documentation of all procurement activities.
Mandate Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial procurement or purchase engineering.
Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP software (SAP/Oracle/Tally) and MS Excel.
Negotiation: Proven ability to handle vendor negotiations and contract management effectively.
