Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Experience: Minimum 2 Years

Salary: SAR 1,800 – SAR 2,000 (Monthly)

Contract: 2 Years (Renewable)

Role Objective

We are looking for a skilled Sushi and Asian Cuisine Chef to join our kitchen team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in traditional and contemporary sushi preparation, as well as a broad understanding of Asian culinary techniques. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and kitchen hygiene.

 

Mandate Requirements

Education: Diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field.

Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience specifically in Sushi and Asian cuisine.

Languages: Proficiency in English is required; basic Arabic is a significant advantage for communication within the Riyadh market.

Technical Skills: Mastery of sushi-grade fish handling, filleting, and specialized Asian kitchen equipment.

Key Competencies

Attitude: Passionate about Asian flavors with a strong desire to maintain culinary excellence.

Behavior: Disciplined, punctual, and capable of working under the high-pressure environment of a commercial kitchen.

Skills: Exceptional hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Experience Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

Sushi Preparation: Prepare a variety of sushi, including nigiri, maki, and sashimi, ensuring precise knife skills and high-quality rice preparation.

Asian Cuisine: Execute various hot and cold Asian dishes, maintaining authentic flavors and presentation standards.

Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of specialized ingredients (fresh fish, nori, wasabi, etc.) and assist in placing orders to minimize wastage.

Quality Control: Ensure all food leaving the kitchen meets the establishment's standards for taste and visual appeal.

Hygiene & Safety: Strictly adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a clean, sanitized workstation at all times.

Team Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
