Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cash Officer to manage daily cash transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure smooth cash handling operations.
The ideal candidate should possess strong numerical accuracy, accounting knowledge, and experience handling cash operations, reconciliations, and payment processing efficiently.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
Cash Handling & Transactions
Receive and disburse cash accurately
Count cash and verify transaction totals
Process customer payments, refunds, and receipts
Ensure proper handling and safeguarding of company funds
Record Keeping & Reporting
Maintain cash books and daily transaction records
Prepare daily cash reports and summaries
Reconcile cash balances at the end of each day
Maintain accurate documentation of all cash activities
Customer & Payment Support
Assist customers with billing and payment-related queries
Coordinate with internal departments regarding payment issues
Ensure smooth and timely transaction processing
Fund Monitoring & Compliance
Monitor petty cash usage and balances
Identify and report shortages, excess cash, or irregularities
Ensure compliance with internal financial procedures and controls
Support audit and verification processes when required
System Operations
Operate POS systems, accounting software, or banking software
Update transaction data accurately in company systems
Ensure secure handling of digital and physical payment records
Required Qualifications
Graduate in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Experience Required
Minimum 3 years of experience in cash handling or cashier operations
Experience working with POS systems and accounting software preferred
Required Skills
Strong numerical and calculation skills
Cash handling and reconciliation expertise
Knowledge of accounting and transaction processes
MS Excel and reporting skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
