Job Summary
We are seeking a Tendering & Costing Estimation professional with experience in Transmission Line and Substation EPC projects to manage end-to-end bid preparation and estimation activities.
The role involves identifying tender opportunities, preparing techno-commercial bids, performing detailed cost estimation, coordinating with engineering and procurement teams, and supporting post-award contract activities.
This position is ideal for candidates who have strong expertise in costing, BOQ analysis, tender preparation, and commercial evaluation, and who are comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
1. Tender Identification & Tracking
Track tenders through:
GeM
E-procurement portals
Utility websites
Transmission & substation EPC bidding platforms
Monitor opportunities related to:
Transmission Lines (132kV / 220kV / 400kV & above)
AIS / GIS Substations
Power evacuation & grid infrastructure
Conduct Bid / No-Bid analysis based on project viability and capability.
2. Techno-Commercial Bid Preparation
Study tender documents including:
Technical specifications
BOQ and scope of work
Commercial conditions
Eligibility criteria
Prepare and compile:
Technical compliance documents
Commercial bid documentation
Vendor techno-commercial comparisons
Ensure timely and accurate bid submissions.
3. Costing & Estimation (Core Responsibility)
Prepare detailed cost estimates for:
Transmission line projects
AIS / GIS substations
Civil & electrical works
Analyze BOQs and develop:
Material costing
Labour costing
Equipment & logistics costing
Overhead and risk margins
Float RFQs and obtain vendor quotations.
Prepare cost sheets and pricing strategies.
4. Technical Coordination
Coordinate with engineering teams for:
Design inputs
Technical clarifications
Quantity take-offs
Review technical specifications related to:
Towers
Conductors
Insulators
Transformers
Switchgear
Protection systems
5. Contract & Post-Award Support
Support review of GCC & SCC documents.
Assist in preparation of:
Contract documents
LOA acceptance documentation
Support project teams during handover and project kick-off activities.
6. Vendor & Internal Coordination
Coordinate with vendors for quotations and technical inputs.
Maintain vendor databases and cost libraries.
Work closely with finance, procurement, and project teams.
Educational Qualification
B.E / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Preferred)
Diploma in Electrical / Civil Engineering may also apply with relevant experience
MBA / PG Diploma in Project Management / Contracts / Procurement will be an added advantage
Experience Required
2–10 years of experience in:
Transmission Line projects OR
Substation EPC projects OR
Power infrastructure projects
Experience with EPC contractors or utility projects preferred.
