Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Production / Assistant Manager to lead and manage production operations, ensuring timely fulfillment of customer orders while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in production planning, inventory management, process improvement, and team handling within a discrete manufacturing environment.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage daily production operations to ensure on-time and full delivery of customer orders
Prepare production plans for monthly and quarterly schedules based on forecasts and order requirements
Plan and manage raw material inventory and subcontract operations
Monitor and manage production output, quality standards, and workforce productivity
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring technical and non-technical issues and implement corrective actions
Ensure adherence to SOPs and ISO procedures across production processes
Modify and improve SOPs to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain and analyze records related to production performance, quality checks, and preventive maintenance
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth operational flow
Ensure workplace safety and compliance with operational standards
Experience & Technical Skills
5–8 years of experience in Production roles (Maintenance background will not be considered)
Experience in discrete manufacturing preferred
Must have independently handled production for:
A small manufacturing unit, OR
A complete product line
Strong experience in Production Planning is mandatory
Ability to manage production targets, manpower, quality, and operational efficiency
Fluency in Telugu is mandatory
Proficiency in:
MS Excel
MS Word
PowerPoint
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in:
Electrical Engineering
Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) – Preferred
Mechanical Engineering – Acceptable
Diploma holders will not be considered
