Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Pre-Press Designer with experience in printing and packaging to ensure high-quality, print-ready packaging designs. The role involves coordinating between design and production teams, preparing artwork files for printing, creating mockups and prototypes, and ensuring smooth execution of packaging production processes.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of prepress processes, packaging layouts, and printing specifications across various printing methods.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with designers and clients to understand packaging specifications, design intent, and functionality
Review and verify design files for:
Fonts
Colors
Bleed areas
Resolution
Technical accuracy
Perform pre-flight checks to ensure print readiness and avoid production errors
Edit, manipulate, and optimize artwork for printing using design software
Prepare high-resolution digital mockups and physical packaging prototypes for client approval
Create print-ready files for multiple printing processes including:
Offset Printing
Screen Printing
Foiling
Ensure compliance with printing standards and packaging specifications
Coordinate closely with production and printing teams for smooth workflow execution
Resolve prepress-related technical issues during production
Maintain understanding of packaging materials, print finishing, and sample-making processes
