Primary Responsibilities :
1. Pre-Sales & Application Engineering
Analyze client requirements, tender documents, technical specifications, and BOQs.
Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals aligned with project requirements.
Develop system designs and solution architectures for:
BTU Metering Systems
Water Metering Systems
Smart Valves and IoT-Based Solutions
Billing, Monitoring, and Data Management Platforms
Prepare technical submittals, compliance statements, product datasheets, and supporting documentation.
Participate in client meetings, technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution discussions.
Provide technical support during tender evaluation and bid clarification stages.
2. Commercial & Proposal Management
Prepare detailed project cost estimates, budgets, and pricing strategies.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely, competitive, and compliant bid submissions.
Evaluate quotations from vendors, suppliers, and OEMs to optimize project costs and commercial competitiveness.
Identify commercial risks associated with proposals and recommend mitigation measures.
Maintain proposal documentation and bid tracking records.
3. Procurement & Supply Chain Coordination
Lead commercial discussions and negotiations with OEMs, suppliers, and vendors.
Plan procurement activities in line with project schedules and delivery requirements.
Coordinate order placement, supplier follow-ups, and material delivery schedules.
Manage logistics activities, including shipment planning, transportation methods, delivery timelines, and cost optimization.
Monitor inventory levels and stock availability to support ongoing and future projects.
4. Post-Sales Execution & Project Coordination
Ensure seamless handover of awarded projects from the sales team to project execution teams.
Provide technical clarifications and documentation support throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders regarding project progress and approvals.
Assist in resolving technical, commercial, procurement, and delivery-related issues during project execution.
Support project teams in achieving timelines, quality standards, and client expectations.
5. Stakeholder Management & Reporting
Maintain effective communication with customers, consultants, contractors, OEMs, and internal teams.
Prepare project status reports, procurement updates, proposal summaries, and commercial reports.
Ensure proper documentation and record management for all project and commercial activities.
Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Proven experience in Pre-Sales, Application Engineering, Proposal Management, or Techno-Commercial roles.
Strong experience in preparing technical and commercial proposals, bid submissions, and cost estimations.
Good understanding of BTU metering, water metering, smart valves, IoT solutions, or related automation technologies.
Knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC systems, district cooling networks, or utility management solutions.
Experience in procurement planning, vendor management, and supply chain coordination.
Strong commercial acumen with proven negotiation and vendor management skills.
Understanding of inventory management, logistics planning, and material procurement processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (mandatory) for costing, analysis, and reporting.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and technical documentation tools is preferred.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
