Primary Responsibilities :

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth and revenue generation for Water Treatment Plant solutions and services.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across industrial, commercial, and infrastructure sectors.
  • Generate and manage enquiries for ETP, STP, ZLD, UF, RO, and DM plant projects.
  • Develop and execute business development and market expansion strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with consultants, contractors, architects, interior designers, and end users.
  • Ensure vendor approvals and inclusion in approved supplier/vendor lists.
  • Understand customer technical and commercial requirements and propose suitable solutions.
  • Conduct customer meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, and technical discussions.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, pricing, and payment conditions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, installation, and commissioning of projects.
  • Monitor project execution and ensure customer satisfaction post-installation.
  • Manage CRM updates, sales pipeline, customer interactions, and business forecasts.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling products and services.
  • Ensure regular service follow-ups and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to drive growth initiatives.
  • Support sales team development through coaching, training, and performance monitoring.
  • Achieve sales targets, profitability objectives, and business KPIs.
  • Travel extensively within the assigned territory to develop and maintain customer relationships.
Experience Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in sales and business development of Water Treatment Plants (ETP/STP/ZLD/UF/RO/DM).
  • Minimum 3 years of territory sales management experience in the water treatment industry.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, project sales, and solution selling.
  • Strong knowledge of Water Treatment Plant technologies, applications, and processes.
  • Experience working with consultants, contractors, architects, industrial customers, and end users.
  • Ability to independently handle customers, negotiations, and project discussions.
  • Strong networking, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and commercial skills.
  • Experience in business development, market expansion, and customer acquisition.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office tools.
  • Strong technical understanding of water treatment systems and project requirements.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving and business acumen.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities, projects, and customer accounts simultaneously.
