Primary Responsibilities :
Roles & Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and revenue generation for Water Treatment Plant solutions and services.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across industrial, commercial, and infrastructure sectors.
- Generate and manage enquiries for ETP, STP, ZLD, UF, RO, and DM plant projects.
- Develop and execute business development and market expansion strategies.
- Build strong relationships with consultants, contractors, architects, interior designers, and end users.
- Ensure vendor approvals and inclusion in approved supplier/vendor lists.
- Understand customer technical and commercial requirements and propose suitable solutions.
- Conduct customer meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, and technical discussions.
- Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, pricing, and payment conditions.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, installation, and commissioning of projects.
- Monitor project execution and ensure customer satisfaction post-installation.
- Manage CRM updates, sales pipeline, customer interactions, and business forecasts.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling products and services.
- Ensure regular service follow-ups and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to drive growth initiatives.
- Support sales team development through coaching, training, and performance monitoring.
- Achieve sales targets, profitability objectives, and business KPIs.
- Travel extensively within the assigned territory to develop and maintain customer relationships.
Experience Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in sales and business development of Water Treatment Plants (ETP/STP/ZLD/UF/RO/DM).
- Minimum 3 years of territory sales management experience in the water treatment industry.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, project sales, and solution selling.
- Strong knowledge of Water Treatment Plant technologies, applications, and processes.
- Experience working with consultants, contractors, architects, industrial customers, and end users.
- Ability to independently handle customers, negotiations, and project discussions.
- Strong networking, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and commercial skills.
- Experience in business development, market expansion, and customer acquisition.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office tools.
- Strong technical understanding of water treatment systems and project requirements.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving and business acumen.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities, projects, and customer accounts simultaneously.
