Primary Responsibilities :
Roles & Responsibilities
Installation & Commissioning
- Install, test, and commission commercial refrigeration and kitchen equipment.
- Ensure equipment is installed as per manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Perform startup inspections and operational testing after installation.
- Provide technical support during commissioning and handover.
Maintenance & Repair
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults in refrigeration systems and commercial kitchen equipment.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Perform gas charging, brazing, leak detection, and refrigeration system servicing.
- Replace defective components and ensure optimal equipment performance.
Refrigeration Equipment Support
- Service and maintain Stainless Steel Chillers, Freezers, Cold Rooms, Ice Cube Machines, and Ice Cream Machines.
- Handle refrigeration systems using refrigerants such as R22, R404A, R134A, and R290.
- Perform fault diagnosis and system performance checks.
Hot Kitchen Equipment Support
- Install, repair, and maintain Gas and Electric-operated kitchen equipment.
- Service Combi Ovens, Deck Ovens, Pizza Ovens, Bain Marie, Hot Cabinets, Fryers, Flat Top Grills, and Coffee Machines.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and heating-related issues.
Food Preparation Equipment Support
- Install and service food preparation equipment.
- Maintain Vegetable Cutters, Food Processors, Slicers, Meat Grinders, Choppers, Dough Mixers, Juicers, Blenders, and Dishwashers.
- Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Customer Service & Documentation
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers.
- Maintain service reports, maintenance records, and job completion documentation.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through timely issue resolution.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow company safety procedures and industry standards.
- Ensure safe handling of refrigerants, tools, and electrical equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety at work sites.
Experience Requirements:
ducation
- ITI / Diploma / Technical Qualification in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
Experience
- 2–8 years of experience in installation, servicing, repair, and maintenance of commercial refrigeration and kitchen equipment.
Technical Skills
- Refrigeration system installation and commissioning.
- Gas charging, brazing, leak testing, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of refrigerants: R22, R404A, R134A, and R290.
- Repair and maintenance of chillers, freezers, cold rooms, ice machines, and ice cream machines.
- Knowledge of hot kitchen equipment including ovens, fryers, grills, and coffee machines.
- Experience with food preparation equipment such as mixers, slicers, grinders, and dishwashers.
- Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service documentation.
Preferred Skills
