Primary Responsibilities :
Machine Operations
- Operate CNC turning machines to manufacture precision components as per engineering drawings.
- Set up CNC machines for production runs using NC programs.
- Adjust machine parameters to achieve optimum machining performance.
- Ensure smooth machine operations with minimal downtime.
Programming & Setup
- Understand and interpret NC programs.
- Perform machine setup, tooling, and workpiece alignment.
- Make necessary program and machine setting adjustments during production.
Quality Control
- Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments.
- Verify dimensions and quality as per engineering specifications.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Identify machine issues and perform basic troubleshooting.
- Carry out routine preventive maintenance.
- Report major machine breakdowns to the maintenance team.
Safety & Housekeeping
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Ensure proper handling of machines, tools, and materials.
Experience Requirements:
Educational Qualification
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or CNC Machining will be an added advantage.
Experience Required
- 3–10 years of experience operating CNC Turning Machines.
- Experience in CNC programming and machine setup is mandatory.
