Primary Responsibilities :
Machine Operations
- Operate VMC milling machines to manufacture precision components as per engineering drawings.
- Interpret NC programs and G-code for machining operations.
- Set up machines for production by selecting appropriate tooling, fixtures, and workholding.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain production quality.
Machine Setup & Programming
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Perform machine setup for new production runs.
- Ensure proper tooling alignment and fixture setup.
- Optimize machining processes for productivity and accuracy.
Quality Control
- Inspect machined components using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Verify dimensions and quality against engineering specifications.
- Ensure finished products meet quality standards.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
- Identify and troubleshoot machining or equipment issues during production.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for major repairs when required.
Team Coordination & Safety
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth workflow.
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Experience Requirements:
Educational Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience Required
- Minimum 4 years of experience operating VMC Milling Machines.
- Experience in CNC machining and machine setup is mandatory.
