Primary Responsibilities :
Business Development
- Drive business growth for Generics, OTC, and OTX products across the assigned state.
- Develop and execute state-level sales and market expansion strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
Channel Development
- Appoint and manage Super Stockists, C&F agents, and distributors.
- Build and strengthen retailer and distributor networks.
- Ensure efficient distribution and product availability across the territory.
Sales & Revenue Management
- Achieve state sales and revenue targets.
- Monitor business performance and implement corrective actions where required.
- Drive sustainable business growth through structured execution.
Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with retailers, distributors, and channel partners.
- Negotiate commercial terms and maintain strong trade partnerships.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and partner engagement.
Financial & Operational Management
- Ensure adherence to Advanced Payment Mode or Irrevocable Letter of Credit (LC) business model.
- Maintain financial discipline and operational compliance.
- Monitor collections and business profitability.
Reporting & Market Intelligence
- Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and business performance updates.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
Experience Requirements:
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA in Marketing or Sales will be an added advantage.
Experience Required
- 8–15 years of experience in Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, OTC, OTX, or Generics trade.
- Proven experience managing state-level sales operations.
- Strong experience in retailer trade and channel development.
