Primary Responsibilities :

Business Development

  • Identify and acquire new customers for:
    • Air Freight
    • Ocean Freight (FCL/LCL)
    • Customs Clearance
    • Contract Logistics
    • Warehousing & Distribution
    • Multimodal Transportation
    • Technology-enabled Supply Chain Solutions
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans.
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, market mapping, and industry events.
  • Achieve revenue and gross profit targets.

2. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with:
    • Exporters
    • Importers
    • Manufacturers
    • Supply Chain Decision Makers
  • Conduct client meetings and business reviews.
  • Deliver solution presentations.
  • Ensure customer retention and satisfaction.

3. Sales & Commercial Management

  • Prepare:
    • Quotations
    • RFQs
    • Pricing Proposals
    • Service Contracts
  • Negotiate commercial terms while maintaining profitability.
  • Coordinate with Pricing, Operations, and Customer Service teams.
  • Monitor shipment volumes, margins, and customer profitability.
  • Build and lead the sales team in the assigned location.

4. Market Intelligence

  • Monitor:
    • Freight Rates
    • Market Trends
    • Competitor Activities
    • Trade Lane Developments
    • Customer Requirements
  • Develop business opportunities in sectors including:
    • Automotive
    • Pharma
    • Engineering
    • Retail
    • Chemicals
    • Electronics
    • E-commerce

5. Reporting & CRM

  • Maintain customer interactions and sales pipeline in CRM.
  • Submit weekly sales reports and revenue forecasts.
  • Track target achievement.
  • Ensure timely collections and adherence to company credit policies.
