Primary Responsibilities :

Food Preparation

  • Prepare authentic Indian vegetarian meals.
  • Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
  • Plan daily meal preparation according to cafeteria requirements.
  • Ensure timely food production and service.

Kitchen Operations

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
  • Minimize food wastage and ensure proper storage of ingredients.

Quality & Compliance

  • Maintain high standards of food quality.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Handle kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Indian vegetarian cuisine.
  • Ability to work independently in a cafeteria environment.
  • Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
  • Time management and multitasking skills.
  • Teamwork and communication skills.
Experience Requirements:

Educational Qualification

  • Any relevant culinary qualification or hotel management certification is preferred.
  • Professional cooking experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.

Experience Required

  • 2–5 years of experience as a Chef or Cook.
  • Experience in cafeterias, restaurants, hotels, institutional kitchens, or catering services is preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Preference for candidates of Nepali origin.
  • Experience preparing Indian vegetarian food.
  • Physically fit and willing to work in Dubai.
  • Responsible, disciplined, and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
